I just wanted to take some time to say thank you to let Ricky know how much I appreciate him and thought it would mean a lot to show how much I care by writing about how much it means to me that he supports me in what I am doing. He has helped encourage me when I didn't yet believe in myself. It seems like it's been a big long process of learning to become who I am as well, and the timing was never right until now when it was finally started. I had a lot to learn, and of course, I still am learning and growing.
I'm just so thankful that he's always by my side, supporting me and encouraging me. I have gone through my ups and downs and wanted to be honest on this journey you all are now a part of how he helped me to really move forward in sharing our homeschool story with you.
It was the day I came home and he had gotten me my own new laptop, couldn't believe it. He really is my biggest fan, it's what I needed to move forward and I really am grateful that he takes time to think of me and encouraging me. We've known each other a long time...so it's pretty neat how he knew how to speak to my heart yet again with the fears I let hold me back and how he knows how to encourage me to do what I know I already want to do, but was scared to.
So thank you Ricky!
In a big way, this space is here because of you and your support and encouragement.
Our middle daughter wanted to go to the Georgia Aquarium to see all the animals she knew were there because of her own interest-led research of finding out they had Beluga whales, whale sharks and dolphins there. So we decided that instead of a big birthday party, we would go on a trip down to the Georgia Aquarium! It was just Mom and me time together thanks to our new learning style we are learning to adapt into our flow with our family, the BraveWriter lifestyle, and her and I enjoyed a very nice drive there and back as well as at the aquarium trip as well. Our relationship has grown stronger from this one trip alone and captured moments that we will both cherish forever.
We loved this aquarium so much! They had great shows we were able to see included in the price of the ticket. They do not let you video tape or take pictures during these however for obvious reasons. We saw the dolpins show, seals and sea lions show.
The tunnel you go under of the giant aquarium area was amazing! I think that was my favorite part personally, the whale sharks and other animals are so majestic and seems so peaceful to see them swimming. I think we both will cherish this experience forever. We are so grateful for a supportive family in letting us go on this trip together. My husband has always been my strength in everything I do.
My daughter's favorite was everything! She loved it all and couldn't decide on just one, and to think it just started with wanting to see whale sharks and we both experienced whale sharks and more!
And for myself, I really enjoyed the Atlanta buildings on the way in as I love architecture!

Our family has come to discover the Brave Writer lifestyle, I wish I could remember who, but I do not, but I know it was through Facebook that we first discovered the Brave Writer lifestyle and we, both the children and I have fallen in love with this way of learning. It is a process for me, as I love having a plan, but I've had to learn how to sometimes just simply live.
One of our favorite things now that we try to do at least once a week, sometimes more often, is Poetry Tea Time! We love it! I love reading to them and getting to eat at the same time. A lot of times, personally for our family, we love to have almost like a brunch. We all take turns reading around the table sometimes, or sometimes I just read. Recently, we read from Aesop's fables and they had a great time learning, but it's also a great memory we all have now as well. I even let them go to the store with me to help pick out what they want to have for tea time as to become a very big event we get excited for each week, sometimes so much we have it a couple times a week.
The great thing about this, is you can make Poetry Tea time cater to you and your family. If you don't like tea, no problem. As you can see, we like to have orange juice and I love my coffee. We don't have fancy tea cups really, so any cup will do.
I also have noticed, they still remember some of these stories so well maybe because of the environment created for that particular day of. reading and they loved that it was altogether.
It has taken some time for me to adjust to living and learning, rather than having a schedule, but I can tell everyone is happier this way and so when life happens, it's not such a stressful time as it used to be.

I think what I love most we have transitioned, is it still let's everyone be who they are while learning, and becomes more natural and interest led as well.
