We began homeschooling in 2013, so we are in our 4th homeschool year. My older two are both in 5th grade this year. My younger is pre-K age, and they all are very different. Some things they love, other things they don't like so much.
One thing I have learned through life and a lot through becoming a homeschool teacher and mother, is that it is hard and scary to try new things the first time: fear of judgement, messing up.
I have learned that we need to "trust the process" and encourage each other to keep trying, it's the only way we can grow. Everyone grows in their own time and own way. This is a journey you can follow with us through our struggles, our triumphs. When we accept and love others for who and right where they are is when we can feel safe enough to grow.
Remember that everyone grows in their own time and own way and we all see the world differently, and that's great so we can all help inspire each other to see the world a little deeper than we did before.
Won't you join us? We'd love to have you!
